For 12 years now, we have offered an online place for our members and viewers to come together. Many attempts have been made to connect with each member to photograph their Cruiser, Show Car, Truck or Motorcycle. Some ways have worked, most have not. 2010 is the year we hope to get ALL our members registered online. Even those without Internet at home.

To do this, each member is required to give Don Stafford, President of The Rhododendron Cruisers and Allen Buchanan, Web Designer a copy of their license tag, their full name and address. This tag is from the vehicle they bring to all meetings, cruise-ins and shows. This information will allow us better knowledge of who owns each vehicle when we photograph them.

Without this information provided to us, we cannot have an accurate account of our Club's membership.

Join car enthusiasts on Lower Street, Spruce Pine, NC. See restored cars and other special vehicles of interest at this popular free event. The Viper above was one of our most expensive show cars in attendance. Any custom car, truck or motorcycle is welcome. Stroll the streets, shop and have dinner in one of our many locally owned restaurants. Escape the summer heat and relax in your lounge chair with a cool mountain breeze for long hours of conversations with other car enthusiasts. To complete the scene, the music of the 50, 60’s and 70’s fills the air. Now is a great time to be making your plans to attend our annual Rhododendron Festival Car Show scheduled for June 21st. This event is held each year at the Bowman Middle School, Bakersville, NC.
